Membership
Everyone is welcome to become a member: teachers, physicians, psychologists, speech and language therapists, parents, dyslexic individuals, college students, and concerned community members. Your membership affiliates you with one of over 40 branches located around the country.

Membership dues need to be paid yearly for benefits.

Membership Levels
Basic Classroom Teacher
Basic Classroom Teacher membership is free of cost for 6-months. The trial membership is designed for pre-service and classroom teachers NEW to IDA.
Basic Classroom Teachers can upgrade to another full-benefits member level starting at $50 per year.
Teacher Memberships
Teacher membership is $50 per year and is designed for teachers of children, youth, and adults with learning differences.
Professional / Specialist Memberships
Professional/Specialist membership is $100 per year and is designed for professionals who are specialists, interventionist, dyslexia psychologist, speech and language pathologist and other clinicians that work with dyslexic individuals.
Community Advocate Memberships
Community Advocate membership is $40 per year and is designed for general supporters, parents, students, and individuals with dyslexia.
